Oh, my goodness, I am really mortified!
We went to Christmas confession at our church last night, and when my son came back from the priest, I asked him what he had confessed to.
You can imagine my shock and horror when he replied....... quite calmly I might add, that he had said the 'F' word and the 'C' words, that he was sorry and wouldn't do it again!
Horrified, I couldn't believe what I was hearing. I didn't think my son knew such words with him being so young. So, just to be sure I said to him, 'Spell the words to me'. ' F-a-r-t and c-r-a-p' he said.
What a relief, I thought. But, hang on a minute, the priest doesn't know he meant those words. Doh! What must he think?
