I heard a funny story today. We were talking about the nativity plays the children have at school and it appears that Joseph has a new career. Yes indeed. One little boy announced that Jesus' father was .... a carpet fitter! Bless him.
Still waiting for my husband to get the Christmas decorations down from the loft for me. (I'm too scared to go up the ladder - I know, I know, I'm a wimp)
I've already asked him about 600 times to do it for me. I think I will meet him at the front door tonight and threaten him with a rolling pin (or better still to talk to him all night). Maybe then he will get the darn things down for me.
Oh well, I'm off to put the icing on the Christmas cake. When I'm finnished it will probably look as if there has been an explosion in a bakers shop.
